Online Security Workshop
Critical information to keep you safe in your activism & organizing
Being online is part of our everyday lives with email, social media, online banking, online accounts, etc., but most of us are unaware of how that exposes us and makes us vulnerable to threats like doxxing, stalking, and other worries. Many times our privileges can make us oblivious to these security concerns and we are unaware that our own exposure can harm our close connections who don’t share our same privileges. This online security workshop will explain what and where those security threats come from, why and how we are vulnerable, and what we need to do to close the gaps in our online security for ourselves, our children, our family, and our community so that we can organize together for justice with a greater level of safety and accountability to each other.
