Zero Hour – The Platform

FTPO Zarna was the adult lead mentor on Zero Hour’s platform team that produced the movement’s revolutionary platform. The documents were launched publicly in July 2018 ahead of the Youth Climate March, Zero Hour’s first public worldwide action that spanned cities including New York, London, Los Angeles, Butere (Kenya), West Palm Beach, Quad Cities, Seattle, Olympia, the Bay Area, Atlanta, Riverside, Las Vegas, Denver, and more. Zarna no longer formally mentors for Zero Hour but continues to mentor youth around the country as they struggle for climate justice, and often refers youth to the Zero Hour platform as a guide in their organizing.
